The magnetic separators of MAPAYA for a washery have different type / sizes and constructions of baths, satisfying to the highest requirements of Customer. Three different constructions of the magnetic systems (countercurrent, straight flow, semi-counterflow) are worked out, that allows to overcome all spectrum of types of magnetic ores and wide range of largeness of particles.
Pulp enters basket, from where by gravity flows in bath, the level of pulp, determined by a downlow threshold, is set in that.
The magnetic particles of pulp in working space of bath are attracted to the surface of drum and at the rotation of drum transported toward unloading, where the magnetic field is weak, and under the action of water washed off in a chamfer. A washwater assists washing of magnetic product from unmagnetic particles in space between a drum and outchute of bath. Alternation of polarity in the direction of rotation of drum results in that retained on the drum of magnetic product flokula at the motion to the zone of washing off inverted several times, that also promotes cleaning of them from unmagnetic particles.
Unmagnetic particles are failed through an unloading crack on the day of bath in a tail cavity, where large, heavy faction settles on the bottom of cavity and gets unloaded through opening of attachments. Shallow, easy faction of unmagnetic product (weathering) together with water overflows across the downlow threshold and on a downlow pocket outpoured from bath. Necessary quality of products of division is arrived at by the change of amount of the pulp given in a separator, change of position of the magnetic system, changing of attachments with different diameters openinğ and by the change of amount of washwater.
Are used two magnetic systems: standard or combined, depending on the put tasks by Customer. The combined magnetic system takes advantage before standard at processing of pulps with more shallow particles or particles with low magnetic receptivity. Both magnetic systems have an analogical construction - magnets are envisaged on a hard steel holder that is fixed on the axis of drum.
Protecting from the abrasive wear of bath, boxes and chamfers is carried out due to a lining-up from highly durable rubber. For a running around drum a lining-up is envisaged from unique abrasive proof coverage.
